The main difference was the fabric they used. Hill House ones usually made from cotton. The Quince version is lightweight linen material. Good for summer weather, she notes. But linen gets more wrinkles after washing. Showed picture for proof, she added.
Straps were different too from the original. Quince ruffled straps thinner and less fluttery. Give a more simple look overall.
Cristina wore lots of dresses despite differences. If you want a copy of the look, Quince has a cotton one. Might try that cotton version next, she says.

Katie got dressed in the Lava Smoke color. Looked even better in person, she felt. The shade was a blue-purple-silver-grey mix. Good color for any season or event. Good option for people who don’t like bright colors. Ease into color with this muted shade.
Size XS fit true for her height. The dres ended just above her ankle, which she liked. Shape offered a good kind of balance. Not super tight, hugging your figure. But not too loose, or it will have it no shape.

The dress’s feel and texture were a popular hit. This sweater dress is so soft and comfy. Surprisingly stretchy also, she added about it. But more tight on the body than I thought. Slit in back helps with easy movement. Ensures you move around without a problem.
While the snug fit of the dress presented some styling challenges for her, she wished it were a bit looser. After trying it with her favorite tall boots but finding the tops too prominent, she ultimately opted for platform sandals to better complement the look.

Cristina said her old cover-ups were not fancy. I used to wear shorts and an old t-shirt for the pool. Now an official adult, trying to get better ones. Cover-ups do not get side-eyed at the pool.
This crochet dress is a good new addition. Knit is thick and strong, she thought. But open-weave cotton does not feel hot. The design around the neck and arms felt unusual at first. The high neck and big armholes felt awkward on her. Usually likes scoop necksbetter.
Then realized features helped a lot. Design lets the dress skim the body, not be tight. Noticed how it was a see-through little thing. Open knit, tight enough to be see-through but not sheer. Finishing touches made it look nicer. The thick band at the hem made it feel elegant.
